Leaving the Big Horns, we practically slid down out of the range using the "easy" route through Graybull, and made our way down through Wyoming and over to to Logan Utah to see my sister, Susy. (See Susy and Stan's new baby grandson: Special Baby Vance photo gallery! password is jeff.)
Leaving Logan, we had a hair raising ride through Salt Lake City on the crazy I15, which is ALWAYS under construction. That was a fast and scary ride. We got down to Cedar City and cut across to Duck Creek City, Utah for a couple of days. We definitely want to go back, Duck Creek is very ATV friendly. We had two days of good off roading there.
We took the old familiar route through Kanab, Lake Powell, and Flagstaff, and arrived at the Shanty to drop off the Ranger and trailer before heading home the next day. We couldn't help but notice that our little cabin and the surrounding Happy Jack forest was as beautiful as anything we had seen in our entire trip!
It was a great trip, but it sure felt good to be home!
