On July 26th, we flew back to Anchorage and retrieved our little rig from the storage lot. It feels great to be back to pick up where we left off on our amazing journey!
We decided to spend another week in Alaska to visit the Kenai Peninsula. The place is crazy with locals since the weather is great and the fishing is better. Alaskan's do love to camp and fish! We went to Seward first, and then spent a couple of days in Homer. Actually, we had beachfront property on the Homer Spit.
We did get a job offer in Moose Pass. Who knows, maybe someday we will come back to Alaska to sell fudge for a summer! Seems to be a pretty good gig.
Next, we'll make a run back to Anchorage (with a side trip to Hope). From there, we'll head up to Palmer and then over and down to Valdez. And then, we HAVE to start home.
