BACK TO QUAD RIDES AND MORE
Wow! We did it again! Couldn't quite leave from the 76 Ranch, so we scooted on down to Punkin Center and made it up to Young right on schedule. We camped up on the Rim, and rode on to the Shanty the next day. (make a note, we need a bigger tent....)
On Sunday, we rode back over the Rim road and down to Valentine Canyon to check out our very favorite camp site from years ago. Everything around it burned in the R/C fire, but our special camping meadow was still intact. We headed out of Young following Cherry Creek. We settled on a nice little camp site right on the creek. Monday morning we had a great, great ride. We saved the best for last, and that trail is going to remain our little secret.
We also saw wildlife everywhere. It was an all around great trip!
